Went for Morton’s Neuroma had already figured that was my problem. She gave me a couple of metatarsal pads and told me with a sticky note crude sketch how to position when I got home. Said I only needed to put pad on one foot because the other foot did not need even though I experience same symptoms in both feet. Duke charges $15 for 2 of these pads. Get same pads cheaper on internet since she didn’t even want to help me put them in. But staff around her more helpful and I did get help from another kind person before leaving. I asked her if I should think about different shoes and she said that was all “marketing hype”. So pads alone didn’t seem to make a difference but I have since purchased zero drop shoes with wide toe box and also a set of toe separators and this is seeming to help a lot. Will not be returning to this provider. I hope they do better for their other patients.
