I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Jolene, the manager, is accommodating and genuinely proud of her staff and property (as she should be!)! Our stay was very enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious! The pool looks wonderful! If you need a great hotel in Abilene, this one is it!!!

I can't speak highly enough about my experience at this hotel! The staff is exceptional and truly dedicated to providing outstanding customer service. Joleen is absolutely fantastic—extremely accommodating and attentive. Erin and Beth also went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. When I'm in Abilene, this will be my only choice for lodging! Highly recommend!

The staff made us feel welcomed as soon as we walked into the lobby. The issue we encountered during our stay was the bathroom in our our room. There was a faint small of urine coming from the toilet. It appeared to be clean, but we couldn't figure out the direct source. The shower was not working properly. The pull-up valve would get stuck three quarters of the way. This caused the shower to lose water pressure. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time to relay our concerns to the front desk staff.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Abilene during a recent business trip, and I was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of my stay. For the price point, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but from the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted warmly by the front desk with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor. It set the tone for the rest of my stay. All of the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit.

The housekeeping staff also exceeded my expectations. My room was impeccably clean and well-maintained throughout my stay, thanks to their attention to detail and dedication to providing great service. I was truly impressed by the level of cleanliness and professionalism displayed by the housekeeping team — especially Trini.

Overall, my experience was nothing short of fantastic. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch customer service in Abilene. It is clear that the staff at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Abilene go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of.

The workers were super sweet and joked around with us and the pillows are like the best things I have ever felt worth the money we spent we looked at Amazon to but one and their like a hundred dollars and the beds are super comfortable I wish I had that good of pillows

Main complaint would be the high water pressure at the sink sprays everywhere and the trickle pressure in the shower requires extra time. That alone ruined it for me. The 6am garbage pick up is out of your control but very annoying.

I guess I forgot to write it when I gave them 2 stars. Reason they got 2 stars is because when I was there they had put tape along all the smoke detectors in the hallways. Very unsafe. Rooms are old. Needs remodel.

Checked in Friday afternoon for a 1 night stay. Used a tax exempt form at check in, told them I was in town for a church meeting.
Had booked previously online. Was told there would be no problem with removing taxes from room rate at checkout.
Found the following problems with the room, none a big deal.
1. Phone in room did not work. Only issue was unable to call front desk.
2. Showerhead in bathroom not attached properly, sprayed ceiling and counter in bathroom.
3. Body wash dispenser in shower broken off wall, in pieces on shower floor.
Checked out Saturday 8 a.m. and was unable to get printed receipt showing tax exempt cost. Was told 'shift supervisor' had to approve and would not be in until 3pm Saturday. Agreed to have hotel email me correct receipt.
Called hotel at 4p.m. Saturday and desk clerk said she was only person on shift. Explained situation and she said she would contact general manager. Had correct receipt in 1 hour. Also got comped on $3 parking fee, which was NEVER mentioned at any time in the online booking process. Lots of hotels in Abilene, don't pick this one.
